Slow Cooking

Any food preparation technique that relies on using low heat for a prolonged period of time is referred to as slow cooking. Low-heat ovens, luau pits, smokers, and barbecues may all be considered as well.

Generally speaking, the advantage of slow cooking is that all of the food’s connective fibers break down, making the food exceptionally soft. Since many one-pot recipes are the focus of the slow cooker, little food preparation is necessary. All that is required is to roughly chop the items, season them, and add liquid, and voila your meal is cooked!
