Notes
Here are some top tips to help you succeed in making Strawberry Oreo Milkshake like a pro:
- Chill your drinking glasses immediately after drizzling them with strawberry syrup. This keeps the milkshake cooler for longer.
- Letting ice cream sit at room temperature for 10 minutes will help the milkshake blend easier.
- Avoid getting too vigorous with the blending.
- When blending, start with the lowest speed, then slowly work up to medium speed. Blend for 30 to 40 seconds.
- Add more milk or less milk to adjust the thickness of the shake.
- To add some crunch to the milkshake, add roughly smashed cookies at the end of the blending, then pulse a few times before pouring into the glasses.
- For a high-protein milkshake, add your favorite vanilla or strawberry protein powder and some extra milk of your choice to thin it out.
- Swap the vanilla ice cream for strawberry ice cream. This is an excellent treat for the kiddies.
