Notes

Here are some top tips to help you succeed in making the best Chocolate Oreo Milkshake like a pro:
  1. Chill your drinking glasses immediately after drizzling them with chocolate sauce. This keeps the milkshake cooler for longer.
  2. Letting ice cream sit at room temperature for 10 minutes will help the milkshake blend more easily.
  3. Avoid getting too vigorous with the blending if you prefer your Oreo's slightly chunky.
  4. When blending, start with the lowest speed, then slowly work up to medium speed. Blend for 30 to 40 seconds.
  5. Add more milk or less milk to adjust the thickness of the shake.
  6. To add some crunch to the milkshake, add roughly smashed cookies at the end of the blending, then pulse a few times before pouring into the glasses.
  7. Mint ice cream and mint Oreos are great alternatives.
  8. Strawberry ice cream and strawberry Oreos are great alternatives.
  9. Swap the vanilla ice cream for chocolate ice cream. This is an excellent treat for the kiddies.
  10. Try a spoonful of smooth peanut butter for a tasty Oreo peanut butter milkshake.
  11. Adding mini marshmallows and caramel popcorn can turn this milkshake into something extraordinary. This is usually great for kiddies.
  12. For a high-protein milkshake, add your favorite vanilla or chocolate protein powder and some extra milk of your choice to thin it out.
  13. For those extra special occasions, add 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite liqueur, such as Bailey's Original or Disaronno Velvet Amaretto White Cream Liqueur.
