Notes
Here are some great tips to ensure your Tomato Soup turns out delicious:
- When making this soup, always use high-quality spices and oils.
- Whenever possible, choose organic vegetables for added flavor and meganutrients compared to non-organic options, which may contain harmful pesticides and herbicides.
- For this soup, use red lentils only.
- Allow the soup to simmer to allow the flavors to meld together and the lentils to become tender. Simmering also helps the soup thicken naturally.
- Blend the soup thoroughly if you prefer a smoother consistency. If you prefer a chunky consistency, blend partially.
- Taste your soup before serving and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
