- Start with a clean glass jar or ceramic container. Make sure it’s large enough to hold the desired amount of sole saltwater.
- Measure out the salt. The general ratio for making sole saltwater is 1 part salt to 3 parts water. For example, if you want to make 1 cup of sole saltwater, you would use ¼ cup of salt.
- Add the salt to the jar or container.100 grams Himalayan salt
- Pour filtered water into the jar, leaving some space at the top. Use 3 times the amount of water as compared to the salt you added. For example, if you used ¼ cup of salt, pour ¾ cup of filtered water.300 ml Filtered Water
- Stir the mixture well with a wooden or plastic spoon until the salt is dissolved. Make sure all the salt is fully dissolved to create a concentrated sole solution.
- Close the lid of the jar or cover the container with a clean cloth to prevent any contaminants from entering. Let the jar sit undisturbed for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, check the jar. If there is still undissolved salt at the bottom, it means the water has reached its saturation point and can’t dissolve any more salt. Your sole saltwater is now ready to use.
- Store the jar in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight or heat. Sole saltwater can be kept at room temperature indefinitely.
- Drink this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach. Begin with 1/2 teaspoon of sole salt water diluted in a glass of water and observe how your body responds before adjusting the quantity.
Notes
Here are some top tips to help you succeed in making a Sole Saltwater like a pro:
- The taste of sole saltwater is quite salty (like you would expect saltwater to taste from the sea). To minimize this, add at least 200ml of cold water and give a good stir before drinking.
- If you notice undissolved salt at the bottom of the jar after 24 hours, it means the water has reached its saturation point and can’t dissolve any more salt. This is normal, and the solution is still usable.
- If you’re new to consuming sole salt water, it's recommended that you start with smaller amounts and gradually increase the dosage over time. Begin with one teaspoon of sole salt water diluted in a glass of water and observe how your body responds before adjusting the quantity.
- Sole salt water can detoxify the body, so drinking plenty of plain filtered water throughout the day is essential to stay adequately hydrated.
- Many people prefer to drink sole salt water in the morning on an empty stomach. This allows the body to absorb the minerals and electrolytes efficiently. However, you can consume it at a time that suits you best, as long as it’s diluted in water.
- Pay attention to how your body responds to Sole Saltwater. Some individuals may initially experience a mild detox reaction or changes in bowel movements.
- If you have any underlying health conditions, are taking medications, or are unsure about incorporating Sole Saltwater into your routine, consult with a healthcare professional. They can provide personalized advice based on your specific needs.
- A 1.5-gram serving of sole water contains about 18% of the daily recommended sodium value. While this is a small amount, drinking Sole Salt Water regularly can still help boost your nutrient levels.
