Notes
Here are some top tips to help you succeed in making a Chocoholic Superfood Brownie like a pro:
- We do not recommend using other dried fruits except dates, as they will not produce the same texture and taste.
- A food processor is required to chop and combine the ingredients. This is because the Brazil nuts and dates would be too difficult to grind together in anything else.
- While the ganache is optional, it's worth adding for its extra taste. It adds a professional touch and an intense, naughty-but-nice yumminess!
- If you want to speed up the setting time, put it in the freezer for at least half an hour and then place it in the fridge.
- Use good quality 70% dark chocolate for the best chocolate flavor.
- Cinnamon: A pinch of chili powder, nutmeg, or mixed spice.
- Nuts: Hazelnuts are great, but they do make the brownie slightly denser.
