  • 1 tbsp Agave Nectar
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract optional
  • Kiwifruit and Blueberries optional

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl

  • Glass Mug

Method

  1. Combine the chia seeds, milk, agave, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
4 tbsp Chia Seeds, 250 grams Milk, 1 tbsp Agave Nectar, ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent the chia seeds from clumping together.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the mixture to individual serving jars.
  4. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results. The chia seeds will absorb the liquid during this time and create a pudding-like consistency.
  5. Once the chia seed pudding has been set, give it a good stir to break up any clumps and distribute the seeds evenly throughout the pudding.
  6. Serve the chia seed pudding in bowls or glasses and top it with your favorite fresh fruits, nuts, or other toppings.

  7. Enjoy the chia seed pudding.

Notes

Here are some recommendations for making the best Chia Seed Pudding like a pro:
  1. The standard ratio for chia seed pudding is about 3–4 tablespoons of chia seeds to 1 cup of milk. Adjust the ratio to achieve your desired thickness.
  2. After combining the chia seeds and liquid, be sure to mix thoroughly. Stirring well ensures that the chia seeds are evenly distributed and prevents clumps.
  3. Sweeten your pudding to your preference; start with a small amount and add more if needed.
  4. After mixing, let the chia seed pudding sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and create the pudding's characteristic thick, creamy texture.
  5. During the initial resting period, gently stir the pudding or shake the container to prevent clumps and ensure even liquid absorption. If it's been sitting overnight, you may stir it several times.
  6. The level of sweetness can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
